How To Participate - Drive Clean Truck

Fleet owners, leased vehicle operators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and vehicle technology vendors are invited to participate in Drive Clean Truck and take advantage of the Program’s excellent incentive offerings. This page provides important information on how to participate in the Program.

Choose from one of the Program’s important steps below.

1.   Program Rules & Guidance

Manufacturers, Vendors and Vehicle Purchasers (Fleet Owners) are encouraged to carefully review the Drive Clean Truck Implementation Manual to learn how to participate in the Program.

2.   Vehicle Eligibility

Manufacturers – Have your Vehicle “Approved”! Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) that manufacture Class 2 to Class 8 All-Electric and Hybrid Trucks, Buses and/or Drivetrain Retrofits are invited to submit a Vehicle Eligibility Application to have your Vehicle sold through the program.  

Fleets – Choose an “Approved” All-Electric or Hybrid Vehicle from the Eligible Vehicle List.

3.   Approved Vendors

Vendors and Dealers – Be “Approved” to sell an All-Electric Vehicle! Vendors and dealers that sell Class 2 to Class 8 All-Electric or Hybrid Trucks, Buses and/or Drivetrain Retrofits must become an “Approved Vendor” through the Program. Vendors are invited to submit a complete Vendor Application Packet to the Program Administrator to become an “Approved Vendor.”  

Vehicle Purchasers (Fleet Owners) – Work with an “Approved Vendor” to submit a Voucher Request for an All-Electric or Hybrid Vehicle. An “Approved Vendor List” is currently under development and will be made available soon.

4.   Apply for a Voucher

Vendors and Vehicle Purchasers (Fleet Owners) – Apply for a Voucher and purchase an All-Electric or Hybrid Vehicle at a reduced price!

Vehicle Purchasers are invited to submit a Voucher Request through an “Approved Vendor” to receive an incentive for an All-Electric or Hybrid Vehicle.
