Between 2014 and 2017, Drive Clean Truck operated with funding from the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Congestion Mitigation
and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) program. With this funding, the program incentivized the purchase of nearly 300 hybrid & electric
Class 2-8 vehicles. Drive Clean Truck spent down all of its initial round of funding in 2017. Additional funding support from FHWA was
awarded to CDOT to continue the Drive Clean Truck program, however this funding is currently not available.
